Improva Labs Join the waiting list

Technology that helps people improve.

We build coaching tools that start from what research already knows, then adjust to your schedule, your constraints, and how you actually respond. You keep the final say.

Belief

The principles behind our work.

01

Busy is not the same as better

We don't measure success in time spent in the app. A good session ends with you closing it and going to do the thing.

02

You make the call

Our tools recommend and explain their reasoning. Accepting a recommendation is always a separate step, and always yours.

03

Plans survive contact with reality

A plan that can't absorb a missed week, a cold, or a work trip isn't a plan. Ours reshape instead of breaking.

Products

What we're building.

In private pre-beta

A coach that adapts to your reality.

Runsei holds a training block with a long-term shape and writes the sessions in full, down to the interval. It then checks whether the plan is actually landing, in your body and in your week, and reshapes it when it isn't. It proposes; you decide. In private pre-beta, with a waiting list open.

A coach you talk to

A real conversation that plans, explains and logs. Talk or type, send a photo or a PDF, and it remembers the injuries and constraints it has to train around.

Plans that bend

Phases you agree up front, with sessions written about a week ahead so they fit the runner you are by then. Miss a week and it reshapes rather than resets.

Numbers that mean something

Execution scores, training load, aerobic efficiency and race predictions, each computed from your own runs and each opening onto the method behind it.

Your data, in the EU

Stored in the EU, with an EU-only mode for the AI, and never used to train anyone's models. Export everything, and disconnect any source at any time.

Onword

In planning

Stay on your word

A planning tool for people who set good intentions and lose them by Wednesday. It works on follow-through by building habits rather than stacking reminders. Still a concept; we're designing it while Runsei is in testing.

The person behind it

Why I started Improva Labs.

Andreas Schmidt, founder of Improva Labs

Andreas Schmidt · Founder, Improva Labs

I'm Andreas, an engineer based near Copenhagen. For the past decade I've built software for people to actually use, from small internal tools to large-scale systems, in both consultancy and industry.

Along the way, my education and career have taken me to live in Argentina and Spain. What fascinates me now is how AI can help us improve — both mentally and physiologically. It lets us start out on the shoulders of research and best practice, right at our fingertips, and then adjust to our own reality: our schedule, our constraints, and how each of us responds best as an individual.

That's Improva Labs: turning what's known about getting better into tools that meet you where you actually are.
